Hericea Inc. (“Hericea,” “we,” “us”) collects the information you give us — your email when you reserve a product, and your name, shipping address, and order details when you buy — plus basic technical data about how you use this site. We use it to run the business: to send what you asked for, fulfill orders, manage subscriptions, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact details with data brokers.

You can unsubscribe from email at any time, ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@hericea.com and we’ll take care of it.

Information you give us

• —Reservation & waitlist data.When you reserve a product or join a launch batch, we collect your email address and, optionally, the product you’re interested in and any preferences you share.
• —Order & account data. When you purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, the items you ordered, and your subscription preferences.
• —Payment data. Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and a token, not your full card number.
• —Support & communications. Messages you send us by email or form, including anything you choose to tell us about your health goals.

Information collected automatically

• —Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP.
• —Cookies & identifiers:small files that keep the site working and help us understand aggregate traffic (see Cookies & tracking below).

We treat any health-related information you volunteer (for example, that you’re in perimenopause or are an athlete) as sensitive and limit its use to responding to you and tailoring what we send. We do not collect health information you don’t choose to share.

• —To send the reservation confirmations, launch updates, and emails you signed up for.
• —To process orders, manage subscriptions, ship products, and handle refunds.
• —To provide customer support and answer your questions.
• —To operate, secure, and improve the site and our formulas’ presentation.
• —To measure aggregate marketing performance and prevent fraud and abuse.
• —To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, dietary-supplement recordkeeping).

The legal bases we rely on (where the GDPR or similar laws apply) are: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), your consent (marketing email — withdrawable anytime), and our legitimate interests in running and securing a small business.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Hericea, and only for that purpose. Categories include:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide the opt-out the law requires.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep the site functioning, plus a small number of analytics cookies to understand aggregate traffic. You can refuse non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie banner we present, and the site will still work. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of any sale/share for California residents.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing and of any sale/share. We honor these requests for all customers, regardless of state.

• —Access / deletion / correction: email privacy@hericea.com. We’ll verify your identity and respond within the timeframe the law requires (typically 45 days).
• —Appeals & complaints: if we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We protect it with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable processors. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and regulators of any breach as required by law.

Hericea products and this site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email privacy@hericea.com and we will delete it.

We’ll update this policy as the business grows — for example, when checkout and subscriptions go live before launch. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and we’ll email reservation holders when the change is significant.
